Hey all-
The LOTROCast podcast has a new home. You can go to http://www.lotrocast.net or http://www.thelotrocast.blogspot.com to access the blog. You can send emails to thelotrocast@gmail.com
We had to change websites as the original website and email account got locked out.
Listen to LOTROCast #28 for more details about the move and about my opinions on the F2P decision by Turbine.

Hey all-
After a short break LOTROCast is back. Moormur is still on vacation so I am putting out my first solo episode.
In this episode I talk about the dev diaries for the upcoming expansion and give my take on some of the bigger changes.
As this is my first solo work (including the editing and sound work) I'd really like to here your feeback on the episode.
Also, I am starting a blog which can be found at http://my.lotro.com/alberich/ I'd like to hear your thoughts on the blog as well.
If you get a chance please give the podcast a listen and the blog a read.

Are you having trouble with that latest epic quest? Do you feel like your full potential isn’t quite being met? Are you stuck on a deed and can’t quite finish it? Or, are you finding those 250 half-orcs in Eregion that you need to kill a bit daunting? (Not that you’re scared, it’s just a LOT of half-orcs to mow through). Or, what would you say to extra in-combat morale regeneration? Or extra will, fate, and vitality?
Deeds grant you all these things and more!
Coming soon to an Amistad fellowship near you is Mondeeds. Yes, that’s right! Monday is going to become our kinship’s deed day. If you are trying to finish up a deed somewhere, suggest it either in the forums or when you sign on and we’ll get a fellowship together to work on that deed with you!

![[Image: features.jpg]](http://www.delotro.com/images/features.jpg)
In an effort to improve your offline experience and ability to connect and communicate with others, I have added several new features to our forums.
User Profiles
I've added multiple new fields to the User Control Panel. Please take a look and update yours!
- In order to support Adventurer's Pack owners, you can now enter up to eight alts with an additional spot for more alts if you have another account.
- You can now enter the names of your monster-player characters.
- You can now select from a variety of playstyles in the Interests section. If your playstyle is not listed please send me a message and I'll add it!
- You can now specify whether you are a member of AdO, looking to join, or whether you are a member of another kinship (allied or not).
- You can now enter your Facebook page in the contacts section.
Blogs
Users who have made at least 15 posts may now create a Blog (weBLog). These diary/journal type entries can be for whatever you like, so long as they meet the terms of our forums.
New Alliance Forums
I've added new forums for use by our allies. Members can of course use them too, but they are primarly there to coordinate activities with other allied kinships.
Shoutbox!
Near the bottom of the Forum List page is a shoutbox -- which is a simple chat channel that forum members can read and add to.
Birthday Greetings
The forum will send you a birthday message as well as post a thread if you're birthday is not hidden.
I hope you enjoy these features. If there's something else you'd like to see, just send me a message and I'll see if it's available.

Are you stuck on a quest? Can't find a fellowship? Just need a little more ore to get that next tier?
Let's help get each other "over the hump".
I'm designating Wednesdays as our official " Over the Hump" day, or help day. I encourage all members and especially officers to use this day to help others with quests, crafting, deeds, etc. This day can be a perfect opportunity to pay it forward.
And if someone helps you, be sure to recognize them by posting in our "Who Helped You" thread.
Thank you all for making us the best kinship we can be!

Thanks for joining the Spooky Scary Stakeout! |

The Spooky Scary Stakeout was a huge success. Many players met at the Inn of the Prancing Pony and enjoyed a beverage or two and the many musical talents of Lunna the Burg. Much dancing and gallivanting ensued.
After a while reports came in that the graveyard outside of Bree was indeed playing host to a fell spirit. All those gathered ventured out to the place and, at the encouragement of the ghost, told spooky stories to quell his restlessness. Lunna started us off and many others followed. Campfires were in abundance, and even a dwarf barbeque! In all, it was a spooky, fun-filled evening.
Special thanks go out to Lunna for sponsoring and leading the event and for leading off in the stories. Thank you, also, to all who shared their stories and campfire materials.
Screenshots from the event can be found in this thread.
