Thanks for Celebrating the Summer Festival With Us!

We met at the Party Tree in the Shire, and after a little confusion (and some firewalking by yours truly) we set out to the Bywater pond for a little fishing.

From there we fished in the major hubs of Thorins Hall, Celondim, and Bree and then returned to Thorins Hall fto bet on the racing dwarves. Otto won both races to the chagrin of several of us, but the delight of several others -- including Baric who won at least once here and twice later in the Shire!

We then returned to the Shire for a few Hobbit races. Before the first competition I got set on fire by one of our members, but it didn't hurt so much -- fire retardant pixels I guess. I managed to win the first race by betting on Dafodillia, but decided to "switch horses" on the second -- which proved to be a mistake as she won again!

All in all, it was a fun evening. I hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did.
