Hello all, new member Brythel here.

Thanks for having me.
I already had quite a nice discussion with one of your members upon voicing my interest in the guild. The outgoing personality of this member really made a great first impression for the Kinship. Because it is all about the members.

A little about me:

I've been gaming online for quite awhile, I'm figuring around 16 years. I started with text-based RPGs and I was quite involved with them for many years. Then I moved to graphically involved games, but I always preferred multi-player.
I played WoW for over 4 years and just recently dropped it (again). I finally achieved my raiding goals, actually finding a hard-core raiding guild that was full of a bunch of great people. (I didn't dislike anyone, weird.) I had a great time but I just needed a break from WoW because all I had left to do was raid and when I didn't feel like raiding, I felt like there wasn't much to do. And I figure since another expansion is coming out in about half a year I may go back then and see what's new.

Anyhoo in hopped into a LOTRO trial version and really started to enjoy it, so I just recently upgraded to a subscription account.

It's REALLY nice to just play casually again.

Playing solo is fine, but these days I like playing with a group of people a lot more, plus it's a whole different experience.

(Along with LOTRO I'm thinking of buying STO, Star Trek Online, because I am a bit of a Trekkie and it looks to be rather interesting from the short lived Beta time that I played. So we'll see about that.)
